画风景是最有意思的

IT IS MOST INTERESTING TO PAINT LANDSCAPES

当年的风景画更多的是创作，是写生。现在的风景画中的主观层面较多，写生的成分较少，很多都是凭记忆作画。写生主要用素描，每次出行我都带素描本，回来后，马上画两笔，所以我的水彩已经不是地道的水彩，有淡彩的味道。当然，油画是写生的多。当年是正儿八经，正如要点一首歌唱一唱，沉重感要重一些。现在主要是与家人、朋友一起出去玩的时候，我在一边画几张，更多的是很情绪化的东西，就像看到一个感兴趣的东西，很随意的抒发，高兴，觉得很过瘾。

对我来说，最好的休息就是如哼小调般地画画，很轻松，又有很深情的怀旧感：当初考附中、美院时的感觉。所以画风景是最有意思的。

At that time I was creating sketches of nature, but now I integrate more subjectivity by painting from memory. I took my sketchbook wherever I went and added some strokes after return. So my watercolours are somewhat like light colours. My oils came from nature of course. Then I was conscientious; I felt grave like choosing a song in karaoke singing. But now I paint something when sightseeing with family members or friends. The works are sentimental; when I get interested in something, I just want to sing it out casually and I feel happy and satisfied.

The best rest for me is painting, and it’s like casually humming a tune, with a touch of nostalgia—think- ing of my days before being enrolled by my high school, and my time in the rigor of examination to enter college. So it is most interesting to paint landscapes.
